Old English Painting transformed my house! It was a big job as almost every square inch was dated wallpaper from the previous owner. They had to strip all the wallpaper, prep walls, paint the entire interior, and paint trim as well..... all very time consuming. There was a lot of wood trim to paint as all of it was different types of wood... not pretty when none of it matches. These guys got the job done beautifully and I LOVE how it looks now! Old English Painting offered a competitive quote for a complex project at our condo building, which is on the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places. The scope of work involved caulking, sanding, and repainting ~100 original mahogany wood windows (which were in bad shape-see photos), paint touch ups to railings, grills, and masonry. We required specialized equipment for access, and Steve was able to secure a competitive quote, and coordinated all logistics with the rental company for delivery and pick up, as well as maneuvering the equipment through the narrow streets around the building without causing any damage, or disruptions. He and his team demonstrated exceptional professionalism, and punctuality, completing the entire project on-time (4 weeks). Steve treated our project, building, and residents like partners not just one-time clients. He also helped identify further areas for improvement, both structural and cosmetic. Steven did an incredible job on a project that started out as "simply" painting an investment property that had been severely neglected by a previous tenant. It started out relatively small and turned into a much bigger project and he stepped up to the plate, going above and beyond to meet my needs. I've attached before and after pictures for some of the areas he worked on. If there were issues he couldn't take care of himself, he found someone to help get it done. Overall, keeping costs down was a concern of mine as the property in question was an investment property, and he put forth great effort to help reduce overall costs without compromising workmanship. I would hire again in a heartbeat if another project came up including my own home- I know he'll get the job done in a timely, professional manner and get it done right.
